I've been reading a book entitled '22 Things a woman with Asperger's Syndrome Wants her Partner to Know' by Rudy Simone.

It's quite an enlightening book as it deals with many social conditions that effect young women which are not normally apparent.

The female form of autism seems to present quite differently to the male form and this book is a good place to start in understanding why a lot of the symptoms go hidden and also misunderstood.
