Phobias and Habits
Many people are phobic to some extent - whether it’s from the fear of flying, spiders, snakes, having an injection. vomiting or heights.
The only time it becomes a real problem is when it affects the sufferer's day to day life and puts a limit on what they can do and how much they can enjoy each day.
Hypnosis is a fantastic tool to help to understand the reason for the phobia and enable the mind to work in a more constructive way.
Just some of the phobias that I have worked with are:
Agoraphobia
Blood
Chickens
Claustrophobia
Dental
Flying
Injections
Lifts
Escalators
Mice and rats
Restaurants
(eating out in public places)
Spiders
Snakes
Toilets
Vomiting
Habits are again just something that we have learnt and tended to serve some form of purpose. They then become just something you do because you have always done it so the time comes when it is time to give the habit up. Habit breaking includes:
Night Terrors
Skin picking
Nail biting
Hair pulling
Bed wetting
